Terms of Service

Welcome to Thorough Immersion Behavioral Health LLC (TIBH). By accessing our website or engaging in services, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

01 Payment Policy

  • Payment is due at the time of service via secure online methods (credit/debit).
  • Outstanding balances must be paid before scheduling future appointments.
  • Alternative arrangements may be considered on a case-by-case basis if discussed in advance.

02 Appointments & Cancellations

  • Medication Management: 24 business hours notice required.
  • Therapy / New Evaluations: 48 business hours notice required.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows incur a fee of $75 (medication visits) or $125 (therapy/evaluations).
  • Repeated missed appointments may result in termination of care.

03 Medication Policy

  • Prescriptions are managed during scheduled visits only.
  • No refills or medication changes are provided without an appointment.
  • Controlled substances are prescribed at provider discretion and may require monitoring.
  • Sobriety may be required if substance use is suspected.
  • Compounded medications are non-refundable once ordered.
  • Off-label use may be discussed; informed consent is expected.

04 Insurance & Billing

  • Insurance accepted via Headway and Alma.
  • If out-of-network, a superbill can be provided upon request.
  • Clients are responsible for understanding deductibles, copays, and out-of-pocket costs.
  • Copays are due at the time of service.

05 Telehealth

  • Secure links will be provided for all virtual visits.
  • You must be in a private, appropriate setting during sessions.
  • Telehealth visits follow the same payment and cancellation policies as in-person visits.

06 Communication & Emergencies

  • This practice does not provide emergency or after-hours crisis services.
  • Call 911 or 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) in the event of an emergency.
  • Non-urgent messages received after 3:00 PM will be addressed the next business day.

07 Client Responsibilities & Rights

You agree to:

  • Attend scheduled appointments and communicate if you need to cancel.
  • Follow treatment recommendations and participate actively in your care.
  • Communicate changes in symptoms, medications, or concerns promptly.

You have the right to:

  • Respectful, nondiscriminatory care regardless of background.
  • Clear communication about your treatment options and care plan.
  • Privacy, confidentiality, and protection of your health information.

08 Website Use & Disclaimer
