Am I a GLP-1 Candidate?

A self-check — not a diagnosis.

"This isn't a diagnosis — it's what I look at when someone asks me about GLP-1s. If several of these sound like you, it's worth a conversation."

Signs It May Be Worth Exploring

Things I'll Ask You About
Personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer, or MEN2 syndrome
A history of pancreatitis
Pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a pregnancy
Current medications — prescription, over-the-counter, and supplements
A history of an eating disorder
These don't rule anything out on their own — they're what we talk through together, so GLP-1 therapy is safe for you specifically.

What Makes My Approach Different

I'm a dual board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, not a GLP-1 dispensary. The medication is one part of your care, not all of it — emotional eating, mood, and perimenopause get addressed alongside the prescription, not set aside because they're "not what you came in for."

This self-check is for general educational purposes only. It is not a medical diagnosis or a determination of candidacy. GLP-1 medications are prescription-only and are prescribed following a full clinical evaluation. Reading this page does not create a provider-patient relationship.
